Hart Crane, Reduced
He rejected lifesavers
As a blow against his father
And his mothers colored vagina.
He liked Melville
But not for the words;
He liked the bigness of the whale.
His bridge erected
His tomb of frosted coils
His cold leap into forgetfulness
All a written cry for unknown help.
